Autocenter Summer Academy 2015
Lecture program

Over and above the five individual exhibitions, a series of lectures is planned to take place in the framework of the Autocenter Summer Academy 2015 (ACSA), allowing some of the curators and artists to discuss the works on display and related topics. The idea behind “Re-Discoveries” fits into the overall philosophy of the Autocenter, which sees itself both as a site of art production and as a common benefit, non-profit-making exhibition space operating beyond the hierarchies of the art market. This conjoining of a social element with the ‘displaying’ of art is a major objective. The Autocenter in general – and the “Re-Discoveries” project in particular – sets out to create a platform for the interaction of international artists, offering both a space and an audience for artistic ideas and their exchange.
